Children are awarded table points during the week for good work, attitude, effort or behaviour. The table with the most points receive a small prize. This encourages children to work hard and co-operative as part of a team.
Each week the class teacher will select children to be presented in assembly with a badge for their work or behaviour. The children will have the opportunity to share their achievements not only with their peers, but also with members of the school staff.
The end of each term the child in each class with the most achievements will gain a certificate and a gold badge;- there is also a runner up. Children are also nominated for Good Behaviour and Playground Behaviour.
There are certificates and badges for sports, music, etc. All these are on display in school for the children and parents to see and hopefully act as an incentive. Parents are encouraged to attend the end of term Achievement Assembly to share their child’s success.
